MORE ABOUT US
The 402 Arts Collective is a vibrant network of musicians, performing artists, visual artists, and creatives committed to impacting culture and serving the Omaha, Nebraska, community. We exist to cultivate a growing collective of artists who are passionate about using their gifts to serve others and enrich the lives of those they teach, coach, and mentor.
By joining together, our community of artists amplifies its impact. Through teaching, creating, and performing, we help students build confidence, value excellence, and grow in teamwork and communication.
At the core of our mission is a three-stage journey of creative expression—
Education, Creation, and Performance
—which fuels a richer and more inclusive arts culture in our city.
The 402 Arts Collective was founded to meet a clear need in our community: a more relational, artist-led approach to arts education. We create opportunities for working artists to give back, mentoring students while also building sustainable, healthy lives for themselves.
Multiple physical studio facilities located around the metro area in Omaha, NE, serve different areas of the community. Our Benson studio we call “The 402” is located in the middle of a thriving Arts District, while our West Omaha studio serves those in the West Part of the city.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, The 402 Arts Collective invites you to join us in making a lasting impact. Your partnership helps us continue to offer music and art education to those who may not otherwise have access.
