CLASS DESCRIPTION:

In this weekly class, students will explore the fundamentals of painting with water-mixable oils—a versatile and eco-friendly alternative to traditional oil paints. Whether you’re a beginner picking up a brush for the first time or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, this course offers a supportive and creative environment to grow.

Each student will have the opportunity to choose their own subject matter—landscape, still life, portrait, or abstract—as inspiration for a completed 11” x 14” painting. With personalized guidance and step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn essential techniques in composition, layering, color mixing, and brushwork specific to water-mixable oils.

By the end of the month, you’ll walk away with a finished piece you can be proud of—and the confidence to continue exploring this rewarding medium in the monthly opportunities that lay ahead.

This class consists of one 120-minute session per week, and there are no make-up sessions if a student is absent and cannot attend.

COST: $180.00/month ($225.00 in event of month with 5th session)

WHEN: Tuesdays, 9:30 am-11:30 am

AGES: Adults (18+)

WHAT TO BRING: All supplies and materials are provided for each student and will be ready when you arrive.

CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS:

This class is part of a monthly subscription that automatically renews each month. To end your enrollment for next month, let the office know before the 25th of the current month. office@402artscollective.org or (402)-913-1939
Any notice given after the 25th will result in the full payment for the following month. There will be no refunds offered.
Months with five sessions will include billing for the fifth session.
