WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Learn the timeless art of knitting in this beginner-friendly class designed for anyone ready to pick up knitting needles for the first time! In Beginning Knitting - Garter Stitch Scarf, students will learn foundational knitting techniques while creating a cozy handmade scarf using the classic garter stitch.

Throughout the class, students will practice essential skills such as casting on, the knit stitch, maintaining even tension, and binding off. With step-by-step guidance in a relaxed and supportive environment, this class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone wanting to refresh their knitting basics.

By the end of the course, students will leave with a beautiful handmade scarf and the confidence to continue their knitting journey.

WHAT TO BRING:

350 yards (1or 2 skeins) of worsted weight yarn (#4 on the label) any wool or wool blend will work -- do not choose a dark color
Size 9 knitting needles - straight
