MATT TORCZON
Matt is an actor and teacher dedicated to helping artists develop confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for storytelling. He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, where he built a foundation in acting technique, ensemble work, and performance.
As a performer, he has experience in film, commercials, and theater, and has appeared in productions including Boeing Boeing, A Doll's House, Chicken & Biscuits, and Richard III, working with a variety of directors and ensembles.
Following his training, Matt worked as a ranch hand at a wild horse sanctuary, and spent several years in Germany, where he gained a broader cultural perspective that has helped inform his approach to theater and education.
As a teacher, Matt focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, explore their creativity, and grow as performers and individuals. He believes it is every individual person’s experiences that make their work interesting and unique and wants to encourage people of any experience level let go, trust their instincts, and most importantly have fun and play!
