Zach Winters Concert

  • Grace Central Church 344 North 115th Street Omaha, NE, 68154 United States (map)

Zach Winters is a gardener of verses—growing his work and life together. Winters’ songs resonate with the sacred and the commonplace—companionship, wrestling with the divine, passing seasons, and the pursuit of a tangible beauty. His lyrical themes share a kinship to the poetry of Frost and Tagore. Over the years, Winters has honed his songwriting and DIY approach, while staying true to his homemade yet luxuriant variety of folk. Zach has self-produced eight full-length albums as well as a handful of EPs and other projects, garnering praise from voices like Paste Magazine and this pinned person on youtube.

Winters moved his family to southern Mexico for a year for his kids to learn Spanish and to finish the 13-track LP, Love is a Garden. And after cancelling all plans along with the rest of the world in 2020, Zach set to work on a new group of songs that was released in batches through 2021, and culminated in the release of Other Side in 2022.

In the autumn of 2022, Winters began writing what would become a collection of 100 poems, called Snowmelt to Roots, and a new album called Shade of Indigo (April 24, 2024).

Zach has toured throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica & Mexico, musically migrating with his family and playing shows with friends in homes and concert halls. He has had the honor to sing for Syrian refugees, laboring mothers, orphans in Mexico, monks in Poland, pubs in Northern Ireland (and Ireland), and his friends, neighbors and family.

Born on the Great Plains, Zach and his family have returned from southern Mexico. He claims to look forward to living to a ripe old age, full of years… and song.
