I bring over two decades of dedicated music education and performance experience, holding a Bachelor of Music with K–12 Certification from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My primary passion lies in the viola, alongside violin and cello. I have served as Principal Violist for the Sandhills Symphony Orchestra and performed with ensembles like the Heartland Philharmonic, MAHR String Quartet, Ralston Community Theatre pit orchestras, and Hastings Symphony.
Since 1999, I have taught private violin and viola lessons, as well as leading 5th–12th grade orchestra programs. My school ensembles consistently earned "Excellent" and "Superior" ratings at District Music Contests, and I take great pride in mentoring students who earned spots in prestigious honors ensembles, including All-State, Doane, Hastings, UNO, and Wesleyan Honor Orchestras.
I love teaching because music builds confidence, discipline, and lifelong creative expression. I believe in fostering open communication with families, clear organization, and a supportive environment where students of all skill levels can flourish.
